GINTARĖ BUINICKAITĖ, LITHUANIA

Gintarė introduces herself as a lecturer, psychologist, and curator of alternative perspectives. After completing her studies in psychology, she has been training organizational employees and managers for over 14 years, helping them build resilience, understand emotional intelligence and burnout, work in teams, and assisting newly appointed managers in grasping basic leadership skills. She does all this by seeking a different approach, combining the latest science and psychology, and working with people from various fields.

We often imagine talent as a mystical, sacred gift belonging only to the world of art. But does creativity have a monopoly? Through the lens of a psychologist and lecturer, Gintarė invites us to move beyond the traditional image of the “artist” and view creativity as a universal human asset, at work in IT code as well as in operational and business strategies.

GODA RAIBYTĖ-ALEKSA, LITHUANIA

A science journalist, communicator, and educator who actively promotes science in Lithuania. She creates and hosts programs on science and critical thinking, collaborates with international scientists from institutions such as the ESA, CERN, and NASA, and is the author of several books. In her work, Goda strives to make complex scientific topics understandable and inspiring, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and broader public engagement with science.

At the forum, she will invite participants to take a critical look at the concept of “natural talent” and discuss how talents are shaped by systems—in education, culture, and the environment. Goda will share insights on how to recognize and nurture abilities not merely as innate traits, but as a process that is consistently developed.

ALFONS KARABUDA, SWEDEN

An award-winning composer and cultural leader with over 35 years of experience in the international music industry. He is the Honorary President of the European Composers and Songwriters Alliance (ECSA) and Chair of the Polar Music Prize jury, and is actively involved in organizations defending artistic freedom and creators’ rights worldwide. Throughout his career, he has led the International Music Council (UNESCO); he currently serves as Vice Chair of Freemuse and holds other leadership positions in Swedish cultural and music industry organizations.

At the forum, Alfons will invite participants to rethink the concept of talent in a data- and metrics-driven society. In his presentation, he will reveal why the most important creative abilities often remain unmeasurable and how to preserve their value within today’s evaluation systems.

CAITLAN MAGGS, CANADA

Expert in performing arts with many years of international experience in the fields of dance and creative education. She spent a significant portion of her career at Cirque du Soleil, where she worked as Artistic Head Coach for 22 years. There, she created creativity training programs for all performances and projects and developed methods to help athletes become artists. Since 2017, Caitlan has been leading “CreActivity” workshops and conferences around the world, collaborating with higher education institutions and creative organizations, and is also the author of books on creativity education.

At the forum, she will discuss how artistic principles can be applied to build strong, innovative teams and will share practical methods for fostering creative collaboration and trust, and for transforming team potential into innovation.
