SECTORAL EXPERT GROUPS

In 2020 the National Association of Creative and Cultural Industries implemented a project “Cultural Influence and Communication Opportunities”. The Association initiated work and activities of five sectoral expert groups which aimed to coordinate communication with the Ministries, participate in the ministerial working groups, evaluate and propose recommendations for strategic documents of national importance, initiate ministerial instruments and measures directed to the cultural and creative industries.

The Association appointed the experts at the following sectoral working groups:

ECONOMICS AND INNOVATION

Strategic aim and objective – expanding sustainable development of national economics based on science, advanced technology and innovation, promoting international competitiveness of Lithuania. The sectoral group worked in close collaboration with the Ministry of Economics and Innovation and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.  

The Head of the working group – Ms Živilė Diawara.

HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE

Strategic aim and objective – raising social welfare and inclusion, improving health care and increasing demographics of Lithuania. The sectoral group worked in close collaboration with the Ministry of Social Care and Labour and the Ministry of Health Care.

The Head of the working group – Ms Karolina Zakarauskaitė.

EDUCATION

Strategic aim and objective – expanding inclusion and effectiveness of education in consideration with the needs of the society. The sectoral group worked in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.

The Head of the working group – Ms Agnė Begetė.

CULTURE

Strategic aim and objective – strengthening national and civic identity, enhancing creativity in the society, cultural value and effect. The sectoral group worked in close collaboration with the Ministry of Culture.

The Head of the working group – Ms Živilė Diawara.

COMMUNICATION

Strategic aim and objective – communicating cultural and creative added value in economics, welfare and representation, starting concentrated communication companies. The group focused on communication strategies application among the members of Association, helping them to communicate within the Association. The group led communication of cultural value outside the Association.
