Participation in the North American Lithuanian Business Forum has become an important part of the international activities of the National Association of Cultural and Creative Industries (KIK Lithuania), strengthening the global visibility of Lithuania’s creative industries and fostering new partnerships between the Lithuanian and U.S. creative ecosystems.
This year’s NALB Forum 2026 in Los Angeles placed a special focus on the creative industries — including music, game development, design, animation, audiovisual production, as well as intellectual property and expansion into international markets.
The creative industries delegation, together with KIK Lithuania — the National Association of Cultural and Creative Industries — included representatives of AGATA, LDA / Lithuanian Design Association, The Critical, Vilnius College of Design (VDK), Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster, as well as representatives of Innovation Agency Lithuania and Vilnius City Municipality.
During the Forum, the delegation took part in the special programme “Accelerator for Creatives: Unfiltered Conversations – LA Edition,” which focused on discussions about how creative projects can become globally scalable products.
Panel discussions and networking meetings brought together professionals and creators working with global companies such as Apple, Meta, Netflix, and Nvidia.
During the visit, the delegation also visited the creative studio Eckobend and the California Institute of the Arts — one of the world’s most influential institutions for arts and creative education. Meetings with professionals working across the music, film, entertainment, and technology sectors provided valuable insights into the future directions of the global creative economy.
Forums like this are more than networking events — they create meaningful opportunities for collaboration between creators, technology companies, investors, and cultural organizations.
We return with new partnerships, ideas, and inspiration to continue strengthening the international development of Lithuania’s creative industries and to foster closer cooperation between creativity, culture, and innovation.
The activities of KIK Lithuania are funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture. Participation in NALB 2026 was partially funded by the Lithuanian Culture Institute.
