CCI Sector Needs a Clear Strategy

KIK Lithuania has shared its position on the future of the sector — in an article published by Verslo žinios, we discuss why the cultural and creative industries (CCI) sector needs not only a stage, but also a clear strategic direction.

The cultural and creative industries (CCI) in Lithuania generate approximately €2 billion in added value.

One trend is clear: the sector is among the fastest-growing in the national economy.

International achievements continue to demonstrate the competitiveness of Lithuanian creators on the global stage.

KIK Lithuania emphasizes that:

• cross-sector partnerships, entrepreneurship development, and internationalization must be strengthened;

• the sector needs not only funding, but also mentoring systems, improved infrastructure, more flexible financing models, and export and positioning programmes such as BrandLAB;

• it is important to change perceptions – CCI should be recognized as a serious driver of economic growth.
