THE NATIONAL CULTURE FORUM 2024 IS COMING SOON!

The National Association of Creative and Cultural Industries (NKIKIA) is coming back with its annual event of the year – the 🟣 National Culture Forum 2024. The theme of this year’s event is “Cultural Entrepreneurship”. For the ninth time, the Forum will take place on June 6th at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania. This year it will bring together two seemingly hard-to-connect areas: culture 🎼 and entrepreneurship 💸. The Culture Forum will be focusing on cultural entrepreneurship and culture in the regions, which are of great importance and relevance for the Lithuanian cultural and creative field.

🟣 What are the challenges faced by the CCI Sector in order to monetise its activities?

🟣 What conditions and partners do creators lack?

🟣 How can cultural entrepreneurship be fostered in the regions?

National Culture Forum speakers from Lithuania and abroad will share inspiration, insights and practical advice on how the cultural and creative industries sector can grow not only in cities but also in regions. We will also look at how the CCI can contribute to the country’s economy and promote Lithuania globally.

The Culture Forum will not only cover the hottest topics in the cultural field as seen through the eyes of Lithuanian and foreign speakers, but also provide an engaging discussion with decision makers, creators and people in the cultural field from the country’s regions.

The finale of the Forum will feature a musical performance by Rokas Kašėta, networking and the “Creators Expo” – entrepreneurial creative initiatives showcasing the most interesting ideas, initiatives, creations and products from the field of culture and creative industries!

The National Culture Forum “Cultural Entrepreneurship” is a great opportunity to listen to inspiring presentations, ask questions about cultural entrepreneurship in a discussion, talk to speakers, creators, cultural policy makers and important personalities from the Lithuanian cultural field.
